Sam Young has been a staple of the London club and social scene for over10 years, at 28 years of age he has built up quite an amazing resume.
Even though the UK is his home, Sam has played all over the globe fromMiami to St Tropez to Istanbul. He is infamous for his technical partyrocking style, merging House, Hip Hop, Electro, Rock and Soul into his sets.
The winner of Best DJ at the 2007 Club and Bar awards he has played parties for the likes of Naomi Campbell, Justin Timberlake, DonatellaVersace and Elton John, Sam is the official go to DJ for the hottest partiesand events in London. His residencies include Boujis, Amika, Raffles and Chinawhite.
Sam began his career playing for his school and College parties and on local pirate radio stations. Then one night out with his father RichardYoung, he met Jeanette Calliva who is a well respected party organiserand PR in London. After her birthday DJ pulled out of playing her party, Sam was called in, the rest they say is history and he was soon playingregular sets at the infamous Weds nights at Chinawhite and the MayfairClub.
He was also responsible for signing Kasabian to Song BMG in 2002, Sam did 3 years of A&R at Concept Music. |
